Colleen Thompson
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

A Path Centered on Healing and Self-Discovery
Colleen believes people can heal and transform with the right support and tools. Her career focuses on helping individuals understand themselves and move beyond feeling stuck. As a licensed clinical therapist and hypnosis practitioner, she offers two distinct paths for growth and healing, keeping them separate for client choice.
Her Clinical Therapy Work
She provides traditional psychotherapy based on professional training and evidence-based practices. Therapy offers a structured space for exploring emotional challenges, building coping skills, and creating change. Her approach is collaborative and compassionate, addressing areas like anxiety, emotional processing, life transitions, and self-understanding.
Her Hypnosis Work
She offers hypnosis sessions for exploring the subconscious mind, providing insights not easily reached through conscious thought. Hypnosis focuses on personal insight and self-exploration.
Why She Offers Both
People approach growth differently. By offering both therapy and hypnosis, she provides options that align with individual goals. Her aim is to create a supportive environment for self-understanding.
Her Philosophy
She respects the inner wisdom within each person. Her role is to guide individuals in discovering their own answers, enabling meaningful change.
A Little About Me
Outside work, she enjoys meaningful conversations, family time, travel, and crafting. These experiences bring perspective and curiosity to my work.
Why She Chose This Work
Her work stems from a curiosity about people and their experiences. Personal challenges inspired her to support others with empathy and compassion. Both therapy and hypnosis allow her to create spaces for exploration and understanding. It is a privilege to be trusted with people's stories, inspiring the care and presence she brings to her work.
Kati Harmon
Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Intern

Kati Harmon is a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student at Capella University currently completing her clinical internship. She believes that people are deeply shaped by the relationships, families, and experiences that surround them, and she approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s unique story. Kati works to create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore challenges, gain insight into patterns in their lives and relationships, and move toward meaningful change.
Her work is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and other relational approaches that focus on strengthening connection, improving communication, and helping people better understand the emotions that influence their relationships. Kati enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, and identity exploration. She is committed to providing an LGBTQ-affirming and inclusive environment and has particular interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those living with chronic health conditions.
Kati understands that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and she strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are. Her goal is to help people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and build lives that feel more aligned and sustainable.
In addition to her clinical training, Kati is a Reiki Master and has a long-standing interest in holistic approaches to wellbeing and mind-body awareness. Kati provides therapy under the supervision of Colleen Thompson, LCSW, as part of her graduate training.
